MIS[S]DIAGNOSED

There’s a big lack of awareness around women’s heart attack symptoms in the Middle East, driven by gender inequality. To show the problem, we created Mis[s]diagnosed—an Arabic woman who visited doctors and health workers across the region, showing real signs of a heart attack that often go unnoticed in women. 83% didn’t recognise them.

We turned her experience into Awareness Aid Kits and sent them to doctors, cardiologists, and influential Arab women to help spread the word and encourage more women to join clinical trials.
